He worked as a sharpener for the renowned blacksmith Shiro Kamo for several years, but for the past 3 years, he has worked independently, and his knives have gained much appreciation worldwide. Since he uses powder steel in his knives, the need for hot forging is not critical. It is a very stable steel with a well-distributed grain that simply does not need to be hot-forged with a power hammer. For this reason, he enlists the help of Takefu Tokushu Steel, which laser-cuts the blade shape and heat-treats the steel. Ogata handles all other aspects of production himself, with some assistance from his wife, who manages the administrative tasks.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Ogata","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57775355494748,"sku":"OG-106","price":219.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/5556\/6940\/files\/Ogata_gy240.jpg?v=1780314195","url":"https:\/\/stage.cleancut.eu\/products\/ogata-gyuto-240mm","provider":"Cleancut","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
