He worked as a sharpener for the renowned blacksmith Shiro Kamo for several years, but for the past 3 years, he has been working independently, and his knives have gained much appreciation worldwide. Since he uses powdered steel in his knives, the need for hot forging is not as critical. It is a very stable steel with a well-distributed grain that simply does not need to be hot-forged with a power hammer. For this reason, he enlists the help of Takefu Tokushu Steel, which laser-cuts the blade shape and heat-treats the steel.
