Shiro Kamo is one of our most valued blacksmiths. He has visited our store on several occasions and has also held sharpening demonstrations for our customers. Shiro Kamo lives and works in Takefu, located in western Japan. For many years, he has helped build the Takefu Knife Village, a large factory where about twenty blacksmiths work side by side. Some of these blacksmiths are Kato, Kitaoka, and Kurosaki. Shiro Kamo is very humble and takes his work seriously. His knives are forged entirely by hand in both carbon steel and stainless steel, and the blades are very thin. Shiro Kamo is both a skilled blacksmith and a very humble and kind man. For us, it is an honor to have the opportunity to offer Shiro Kamo's knives.
