Shipping policy
Delivery
We use UPS for international shipments. Orders within Sweden are shipped with DHL, DB Schenker or PostNord, depending on the shipment and destination.
If you have any specific shipping requirements, please contact us before placing your order.
Delivery times
We normally ship in-stock orders within 1-2 business days. All knives are carefully inspected before shipping.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method. If an item is temporarily out of stock or your order is delayed for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible.
If you are looking for a product that is not currently available on our website, feel free to contact us. We may be able to order it for you.
Damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when you receive it. If an item is damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within a reasonable time after discovering the issue.
Please keep the original packaging and contact us before returning the product. We will provide instructions on how to proceed.
A note about handmade knives
Handmade knives are individually crafted and natural variations are part of the product. Minor marks, scratches or variations in grind, blade geometry, finish and handle alignment may occur.
These characteristics do not necessarily constitute a defect. There are, of course, limits to what can reasonably be considered normal, and we assess each case individually.
If you are unsure about a specific knife or would like more information before ordering, please contact us. We are happy to help.
Warranty and complaints
All products are covered by the applicable statutory consumer rights.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or normal wear and tear. Many Japanese kitchen knives have very thin, hard blades and should be used with appropriate care. Damage to the cutting edge caused by misuse, such as cutting bones, frozen food or other hard materials, is not considered a manufacturing defect.
