The straight blade is hand-sharpened and produces even, precise slices of both vegetables and root vegetables. A dial on the back allows you to easily adjust the slicing thickness between 0.5 and 5 mm. The mandoline has an anti-slip base for increased stability, as well as a support at the bottom that makes it safe to use over a bowl or mixing bowl. The package includes a finger guard and three serrated blades that allow you to cut julienne strips of different thicknesses. The smooth slicing blade can also be sharpened if needed.
