#120 is a medium-grit polishing rubber. The rust eraser is very practical for removing rust stains on metal. It works well on both carbon steel and stainless steel, and of course also on pots and other metal surfaces.
For those who sharpen knives with a soft iron cladding, a sabitori rust eraser is also good for creating a hazy and opaque finish on the blade sides, especially if you use slurry from the sharpening stone and polish with light, rubbing strokes.
