Hatsukokoro Ginrei is a very affordable knife with a nice finish and a thin, sharp edge. The core steel is Gingami#3, which is a very fine stainless steel with a hardness of 61 HRC. Around the core steel are 2 layers of stainless steel with a coarse nashiji finish. The handle is octagonal and made of bubinga.
