An exclusive Hideriyama natural stone in a beautiful beige tone, in perfect condition with clear original stamps. This stone comes from the famous mines in the Kyoto region and is known for its even structure, high density, and fine feel when sharpening.
Hideriyama stones are in the mid-to-fine polishing range, making them ideal for kasumi finish and final polishing of traditional Japanese knives. This stone is easy to use and provides precise feedback during sharpening, with the ability to create a clear, contrasting kasumi pattern between the jigane and hagane.
The stone's generous size (205 x 80 x 40 mm) and weight (1500 grams) make it stable and comfortable to work with, even during longer sharpening sessions.
