Ohishi VG-5 has all the qualities you look for in a stainless professional knife: perfect balance, a well-judged weight and a truly sharp blade. An exceptionally affordable knife with excellent edge retention. The blade consists of three layers of steel with VG-5 at the core. VG-5 is medium-hard and slightly tougher than the more expensive knives in our range. The handle is made of pakkawood with an integral bolster and stainless-steel rivets.
A truly thin and refined knife, suitable both for the experienced chef and for anyone looking for their first 'proper' knife.
