The Tsunehisa Damascus is a very beautiful creation from Seki, Japan. The blade is very thin and is made of AUS-10 stainless steel, surrounded by 32 layers of nickel Damascus. The blade has been polished to a mirror finish to best reflect the beautiful pattern. The balance point is neutral and the bolster is cast in one piece to rest softly against the index finger. The pakka wood handle has a partial tang to keep the weight down. Additionally, it has small chamfers to conform to the natural shape of the hand.

It is a very pleasant knife that we highly recommend.
