The SG-2 powder steel core provides an incredibly sharp and durable edge, with a blade hardness of 62-63 HRC. Surrounding the core are 32 layers of steel, creating a wonderfully beautiful structure. The handle is made of beautiful 'desert ironwood' sculpted to fit the hand. This is an incredibly beautiful knife, forged entirely by hand.

Clean the knife after use.
Wash by hand using the soft side of a dish sponge and a little dishwashing liquid.
Rinse the blade especially thoroughly after contact with salty foods.
