Takamura HSPS are the Formula 1 of chef's knives. The knife has a very thin blade that has been sharpened to a razor-sharp edge. The steel is the high-performance powder steel SG-2, which Takamura heat-treats with great care (62-63 HRC). If you are looking for a light knife with a blade that cuts incredibly well, this is the knife for you. However, we want to inform you that the hard and thin blade cannot withstand rough handling, just like a Formula 1 car.
